Same-Day Pet Urine Cleaning in Monument, CO: 100 Cat Stains

October 27, 2026

Short answer: Yes, you can get same-day pet urine carpet cleaning in Monument. On a Saturday this fall, a family near King's Deer Golf Club called me at 6 in the morning with a wedding party headed to their house and over 100 cat urine stains in the carpet. We were there by 1 PM, took about four hours, and got it done for $465. I'm Mark, owner of Colorado Choice Carpet Cleaning, and I've been cleaning carpet along the Front Range for over 23 years.

The job: 100 cat urine stains, a wedding nobody planned on hosting

This family wasn't expecting company. Their daughter's wedding was supposed to be at a friend's house, but the friend came down with a bad flu. So everyone had to come to the parents' house in Monument instead, near King's Deer Golf Club.

That left them with over 1,200 square feet of cut Berber nylon carpet and more than 100 cat urine stains, and people on the way.

  • 6:00 AM: they called. We were already at the office getting ready for the day, so I could say yes.
  • By 1:00 PM: we were set up at the house. The seasons were changing, and it was snowing while we worked.
  • About 4 hours on site: we took our time on every stain.
  • $465: for over 100 stains across 1,200+ square feet.

She was grateful.

How we got the cat urine out

  1. Pre-treated every stain. All 100-plus got treatment before any rinsing started.
  2. Sub-surface extraction on the worst ones. Some of them were real bad, soaked below the surface. For those, we mixed the treatment in a 5-gallon jug, poured it down into the spot, let it soak, then extracted it back up.
  3. Truck-mounted hot water extraction over the rest of the carpet.

Carpet is dry in 2–4 hours.

Light stains vs bad stains: what we did

What we foundWhat we did
Cat urine in the fiberPre-treatment, then truck-mounted hot water extraction
Bad stains soaked down into the carpetTreatment mixed in a 5-gallon jug, poured down into the spot, left to soak, then extracted up (sub-surface extraction)

Why this job took four hours

The bad spots on this cut Berber nylon had soaked down, which is why we flooded them with treatment from the jug and let it soak before pulling it back out. That's the reason the job took about four hours. Rushing 100 stains would have meant leaving some behind.

A similar cat job nearby: Castle Rock, Redhawk

In Redhawk in Castle Rock, a cat had access to four rooms of nylon carpet for eight months. We mapped it with UV, used an enzyme, did a sub-surface flush on the heaviest zones, and extracted at 200–230°F. Every flagged zone cleared on the UV re-check, with no pad replacement. $299.
